The story
Chapter 01
It started with a tired London period home — a project three other builders had quoted at half the real price by half the real quality. We took it on, stripped it back to the bones, and didn't leave until every cornice was restored and every floorboard relaid. The owner called us back the following year for another property. That's how TB&D started.
Chapter 02
The trade hasn't changed in a hundred years. Materials have, tools have — but the honest part (turning up on time, taking proper time, leaving things better than you found them) is the only part that matters. We build like it's our own home, because every home we work in is someone else's.
Chapter 03
Every trade we bring onto a project has worked with us for years. Our tiler, our electrician, our Gas Safe registered engineer — the same faces across every job, not a rotating cast of subcontractors. One project manager, one phone number, one point of accountability from first site visit to final sign-off.
Chapter 04
We cover Greater London and the Home Counties — from a single-room refit in Islington to a full property transformation in Richmond.
