Are you Gas Safe registered?

Our in-house team is not — we're a building contractor, not a gas engineer. All gas work (new installations, replacements, servicing, Gas Safety certificates) is carried out by our Gas Safe registered engineering partner, who we've worked with for years. Certificates are issued directly to you in their name.

How quickly can a new boiler be installed?

Accepted Answer

Like-for-like combi replacements are usually 1 day on site. First-time installations or system upgrades (moving location, adding smart controls) take 1–2 days. Emergency no-heat callouts: our Gas Safe partner aims to attend within 24 hours and typically resolves same-day.

Question 3

Do you fit smart thermostats like Nest and Hive?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Nest, Hive, Tado, Honeywell Evohome and Drayton Wiser are the ones we fit most. Fully installed, paired, and zoned if you have TRVs. If you want each room individually controlled we can spec a multi-zone system.

Can you service boilers we didn't install?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our Gas Safe partner services any brand (Worcester, Vaillant, Ideal, Baxi, Viessmann). Annual service is £95–£160 depending on boiler age and location. We'll also issue a landlord Gas Safety certificate (CP12) at the same visit if needed.

Do you issue CP12 Gas Safety certificates for landlords?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our Gas Safe registered partner issues CP12 certificates directly. Price is typically £85–£140 depending on the number of appliances. We can schedule annual renewals automatically — useful if you manage multiple rental properties.

Question 6

Do I need a new boiler or just a repair?

Accepted Answer

If your boiler is over 10 years old, has had repeated faults, or you're seeing rising energy bills, replacement usually makes more sense economically. Under 10 years old with a one-off fault: repair is usually the right call. Our engineer will tell you straight after diagnosis — no upsell if you don't need one.
