Harrow-on-the-Hill (HA1) is one of the few parts of outer London where a medieval church, a public school founded in 1572, and intact Georgian and Victorian terraces survive together on a single hillside. The substantial detached and semi-detached Victorian houses descending from the hill suit full house renovation and period restoration, while the 1930s semi-detached stock in HA2 and HA3 around South Harrow and Harrow Weald suits rear extensions, full kitchen refits and full bathroom refits. Boiler replacement is available through a Gas Safe registered partner on any project where the heating system needs upgrading. TB&D Construction operates across the Harrow district, established by Arturs Otto, with one project manager from first site visit to sign-off.

FAQ

Commonquestions, Harrow.

  • The Harrow-on-the-Hill conservation area covers the hill village, the school and the surrounding Victorian and Georgian properties. Works to listed buildings on the hill require listed building consent; external alterations in the conservation area require planning permission. The interwar semis in HA2 and HA3 further down are not in conservation areas and fall under standard PD rules. TB&D checks the planning position for each HA1, HA2 and HA3 address before quoting.
